Julie Santana-Guzman, LPCC
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
I have a deep passion for connecting with others and supporting them in their mental health journeys. I understand that therapy is a vulnerable process that requires trust, which is why I work from a person-centered approach. Meaning that I will meet you where you are at currently in your healing journey and provide the support that you need along the way. In our work together, I will challenge and empower you to make the changes that you want to see in your own life.
I am committed to providing support and resources for all individuals. Inclusion is an integral part of what I do because everyone desires connection, regardless of their gender, age or socioeconomic background. I have experienced the importance of human connection and it has furthered my passion to provide a safe and compassionate therapeutic environment. Spending time working in community mental health and behavioral health agencies, whose missions are to aid underserved communities, solidified my desire to support those in need of mental health care.
My clinical experience includes providing outpatient services to individuals with various mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder. I have additional clinical experience working with couples and families. I primarily work from a trauma informed understanding and attachment theory lens.
When you are ready to embark on your mental health journey, I will walk alongside you.
