Amber Preheim, ASW

Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker

Supervised by Christina Bachicha, LCSW – Licensed Clinical Social Worker #98360

I enjoy working with individuals from all walks of life. My passion for helping others and a desire to create increased access to quality mental health services is what inspired me to return to school and enter this field. I understand how overwhelming the daily stressors can be and how those can impact not only us but those who are close to us. It is never too late or too early to ask for help.

Developing a collaborative relationship with my clients, giving close attention to the therapeutic relationship is a crucial piece of this process. From a client centered approach, I recognize that you are the best person to find a solution fitting your unique needs. Together we will identify your strengths as we explore your desired outcomes along with barriers that may be holding you back. Working with me, you can expect a non-judgmental space where you will be treated with dignity and respect.

Our work will consist of carefully planned therapeutic techniques customized to meet your needs. Whether you are struggling with a brief transitional phase in life, or something much deeper, I am here to walk with you on your path towards wellness.

I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker specializing in military families, veterans, youth, and adults facing challenges within their environment. Familiar with trauma, addiction, eating disorders, problems adjusting, and physical and developmental disabilities. More than 13 years-experience in and around therapeutic settings, working in lockstep with clinicians, counselors and medical professionals to optimize client outcomes.
