I believe we are all human first, and that sometimes we all need a little help navigating life’s challenges. My personal motto is simple: “Be a good human.” My hope is that therapy can be a place where you feel safe to be honest about what you’re going through without feeling like you have to have everything figured out first.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My clinical experience comes from working with individuals experiencing a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma-related concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, ODD, relationship challenges, and family systems issues.
I know our brains can tell us some pretty cruel and hurtful things. Part of our work together can be understanding where those thoughts and beliefs come from and how they have shaped the way you see yourself. I’m interested in helping you separate the problems you’ve faced from who you are as a person. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and client-centered. I’ll meet you where you are while working to help you challenge the patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
I don’t believe therapy is about changing who you are. It is about understanding yourself, figuring out what you want to change, and discovering tools that actually work for you. You don’t have to navigate this chapter alone. I’m here to walk beside you, help you work through the obstacles life brings, and celebrate your progress along the way.
