Monica Felix, AMFT
Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Supervised by Stefan Paquet, LMFT – Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #118370

I provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals and families. I specialize in trauma-informed treatment, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, women’s mental health, ADHD in girls and women, and navigating major life transitions. I integrate approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and motivational interviewing to help clients gain insight, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful, sustainable change.
My experience in both private practice and county behavioral health has shaped a grounded and culturally responsive approach to therapy. I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to explore what they are experiencing. My work emphasizes emotional resilience, self-compassion, and practical strategies that clients can apply in their everyday lives.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than a decade serving my community through roles in education, behavioral health, and wellness. These experiences have broadened my perspective and strengthened my ability to connect with people from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. I am committed to ethical practice, continued professional growth, and helping clients navigate challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and hope.
