Zeyda Romero, AMFT
Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Supervised by Cindy Vang, LMFT – Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #100531

Zeyda Romero is a warm, culturally responsive therapist who supports clients through neurodiversity, grief, and trauma. She has a special passion for working with Latinx and LGBTQ+ communities, and she welcomes people of every background and age. Each session is shaped around the client’s own experiences, identities, and goals.
Zeyda’s approach is person-centered and flexible. She integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), non-directive play therapy, and EMDR, with a focus that goes beyond symptom relief. Her aim is to help clients reconnect with their values and build a life that reflects what matters most to them. She sees therapy as a shared journey toward growth, resilience, and meaning.
Zeyda earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, along with a B.A. in English. She has specialized experience working with neurodivergent women and children. Committed to continued learning, she keeps expanding her training in ACT, EMDR, and play therapy interventions.
