Nathalene Vang, AMFT
Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Supervised by Cindy Vang, LMFT – Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #100531

I approach therapy through a collaborative, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive lens. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where individuals, couples, and families feel heard, empowered, and connected to their strengths and personal stories.
Growing up rooted in both Hmong and American cultures shaped my understanding of identity, resilience, and the challenges of balancing cultural expectations while navigating self-discovery. These experiences deepened my passion for supporting people from diverse backgrounds as they explore healing, relationships, and their sense of self.
I view therapy as a space where clients can reconnect with their voices, develop self-compassion, and re-author the stories they carry about themselves and their lives. I believe healing happens through curiosity, connection, and honoring each person’s lived experience.
When working with children, I incorporate play therapy to support expression and connection in ways that feel developmentally safe and natural. I also enjoy integrating creativity, storytelling, anime, music, and art into the therapeutic process, helping clients explore identity, emotions, and resilience through forms of expression that resonate with them. My goal is to provide an affirming and culturally responsive environment where clients feel seen, empowered, and supported in reclaiming their voice and moving toward healing.
