Karina Martinez, ASW
Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker
Supervised by Haley Fuentes, LMFT – Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist #124427
Life can sometimes be challenging, however the support from a compassionate person in a nonjudgmental environment can make all the difference you need. Mental health issues can be debilitating, negatively impacting our daily functioning. Let’s work together to ensure you’re feeling well and managing life’s challenges with confidence.
My therapeutic approach is always unique as it is tailored to the individual and their overall goals. The techniques and modalities used through our therapeutic work alternate based on your needs, however I always utilize evidence-based practices in every therapy session.
My training and experience includes working with adults and adolescents with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, unexpected life changes, and grief. I have extensive experience and hands on training working with foster/at-risk youth as well as working with adults in a psychiatric hospital. Also, I have experience working in the mobile crisis unit assisting those in a mental health crisis and helping with mental health support for first responders.
