Michele Salas, APCC
Associate Professional Clinical Counselor
Supervised by Tammie Makely, LMFT – Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #113186
Taking the first step to begin therapy can be overwhelming and anxiety inducing. We all have times when we need support and reaching out is the beginning of healing.
My passion for helping others comes from the healing work of my own trauma and experiences with PTSD. It has become my goal and purpose to support others in living a happy, full, productive, and healed life. As a trauma-informed therapist, I integrate somatic approaches to support self-empathy and self-acceptance. In addition, I utilize meditation and breathwork to help clients stay centered and mindful of environmental stressors.
My experience includes working in rehabilitation for over 10 years following the completion of Bachelor’s Degree from University of Southern California. In addition to being a Professional Clinical Counselor, I am a Certified Yoga Instructor. I integrate holistic and somatic approaches from yoga into my work with my clients.
I look forward to joining you in your journey to healing and self-love.
